Fear & loathing in Wonderland

Alice is lost
walking through the forest
mushrooms taste nice
reality looks less ugly
people less frightening
First it was the loss
then came the love
Trying to find a way out
of the misery and pain
Searching for peace of mind
she met the White Rabbit
They traveled many miles
across the garden maze
She saw many beautiful places
fell in love with the White Knight
but deep inside she knew
that something was wrong
Off with her head, the Red Queen ordered
and Alice suddenly knew
Eternity was a lie
but she had bought it so faithfully
like all of us
Only she could save herself
but she have to feed her head with knowledge
and her heart with love
instead of those colored pills

Virtual

They walk with their dull faces
hiding themselves behind a wall of lies
Smiling at you while they prepare for the attack
stabbing you when you cry for help
crying for help when the fear takes hold
Counting emotions as money
thinking money as life
Craving for power
for it's power they fear
Let them hide their feelings
let them live in their virtual world
someday they will awake
but it'll be too late
Cos money and power can't take away the pain and loneliness

Caught in a web

I was flying above the rainbow
my heart was happy
I met the girl with the red hair
her smile made my soul revive
We talked and laughed for days
nighttime came too soon
Days passed by like a river
we were lost in the rush of the city
Lives too lonely to be uncovered
hearts too broken to open
bodies too scared to be touched
souls too tortured to mend
eyes too red to stop crying
Storm clouds gathering fast
life awaits its victims
as another dreamer's caught in the web

Blinded

Living a lie -all your life-

believe what you've been told
Crawling along the line of power and wealth
hope for something to be thrown to you
Spending your body and soul
think it's alright
Everybody does the same
why not you?
Dreaming of the silver shining Knight
he comes only for you
Falling in love once again
this time it's for real
Fallen apart once again
the knight has left you behind
Lost in the maze of your mind
can't leave it all behind
Blinded by the shining armor
you leave your life disappear
Time passes you by like wind through the leaves
but the knight hasn't come back yet...
